Support Groups

A support group is a gathering of individuals who share common experiences, challenges, or goals, and come together to provide mutual support, encouragement, and understanding. These groups can be focused on a wide range of topics, such as mental health, addiction recovery, chronic illnesses, grief, or personal development. Support groups typically offer a safe and confidential environment where members can share their stories, offer advice, and receive emotional support from others who understand their situation. They can be led by a trained facilitator or be peer-led, and they may meet in person or online. The primary goal of a support group is to help members feel less isolated and more empowered to cope with their challenges.

        • Chai Lifeline truly is a local organization meeting the emotional, social, and financial needs of seriously ill children and their families. We help when families need us most by assigning a case manager who stays with the family for as long as the family needs our assistance. These relationships endure for years.
