Crisis Intervention & First Aid

Quick support matters. This page brings together crisis intervention resources, emergency contacts, and first-aid information to help individuals and families respond with care, calm, and confidence.

Crisis Intervention Services

Crisis intervention services are designed to provide immediate support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to help stabilize the situation, protect the individual’s safety, and connect them with ongoing care.

  • Assessment: Evaluating the individual’s mental state and immediate needs.
  • De-escalation: Using techniques to calm the individual and reduce the intensity of the crisis.
  • Safety Planning: Developing a plan to support safety and help prevent future crises.
  • Referral: Connecting the individual with mental health professionals, support groups, or other resources for continued care.

First Aid Services

First aid services provide immediate care to individuals who are injured or suddenly become ill. The goal is to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and promote recovery until professional medical help arrives.

  • Basic Life Support: Administering CPR and using an AED.
  • Wound Care: Cleaning and dressing wounds to help prevent infection.
  • Managing Emergencies: Responding to situations like choking, burns, and allergic reactions.
  • Stabilization: Keeping the individual stable and comfortable until emergency services arrive.
